“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."
Many Christians make the mistake of believing this verse is a promise from God to give His children whatever their heart desires. But our heavenly Father will not give us material things that might interfere with our spiritual growth. He wants us to ask, seek and knock on His spiritual door for spiritual things.
